UPDATED FRIDAY 15/03: ***PLEASE NOTE*** I have added the 100% Wild Caught Salmon fillet 4 packs to the grocery list. It is the first item at the top of the groceries. Try it, you'll love it!! These are my picks for the week, the best and tastiest items that I recommend: FRUIT: GRANNY SMITH APPLES ARE NOW AVAILABLE!! STRAWBERRIES AND BLUEBERRIES ARE BEAUTIFUL! KIWIFRUIT from Italy are very good. Peaches are beautiful, Nectarines are BEAUTIFUL.Plums are very good. Watermelon are very good!! Avocadoes are EXCELLENT, New Season Gala Apples are good, crunchy and sweet. Valencia Oranges are sweet and juicy, also available in nets. Bananas are great but the price has spiked due to the flood in Far North Queensland. Fresh Date and Coconut Rolls, great for a healthy lunchbox treat. VEGGIES are all of great quality at the moment. Lebanese Cucumbers are crisp and crunchy! Carrots are very good. Mushrooms are beautiful and snow white. Broccoli is beautiful, nice and dark green tight heads as are the Broccolini. Italian Garlic is very, very nice and aromatic and has a full flavour burst. Zucchini are very good, Red Capsicums are beautiful, Tomatoes are absolutely beautiful. Silverbeet and Cos Lettuce are very good, as are Jap and Butternut Pumpkins, Sweet Potatoes and Dutch Cream Potatoes. Don't forget, I only choose premium quality produce to go in your box and I am super fussy! Some other suppliers may have fruit listed that I don't but that is because the fruit is not up to scratch, either taste or quality wise. I respect that you are trusting me to select great fresh produce for you so you need to trust me when I don't list something which may be available elsewhere. Organic produce is already expensive enough, there's no need to spend good money on fruit that just doesn't taste real good just yet, best to wait a little until the fruit develops it's sugars and becomes sweet. I try almost everything before I certify it as great tasting produce...So if you have ordered something and you don't receive it, you know why! PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT ALL WINTER FRUITS LIKE APPLES, PEARS AND MANDARINS SHOULD BE STORED IN THE FRIDGE UNTIL YOU ARE READY TO EAT THEM AS THEY ARE AT THE END OF THEIR SEASON AND THEY WILL DETERIORATE QUICKLY IF STORED AT ROOM TEMPERATURE. EVERYTHING ELSE IS NEW SEASON. Cheers, George.
